About the Temecula Music Fest
The 2005 event, then called ‘Identity Band Clash’, was a one-day event featuring local talent and drew over 500 people to the Temecula Rec Center Amphitheater. After the terrific response we received the first year year, the whole concept of a festival was put in place and it quickly developed into a 5 day long event featuring bands from all over the country.
The 2006 event was renamed to Temecula Music Fest and spread out over 5 days at 3 of the valleys hottest music spots, Temecula CRC, Java Joz and Aloha J’s. The event was attended by over 1200 people over 5 days and featured over 40 bands. The event was very successful for essentially a first year event spread over 5 days at different venues. All of the days either broke expectations or exceeded them with ticket, band merchandise and concession sales.
Our 2007 event blew expectations out of the water with terrific attendance at our opening night at the new Old Town Temecula Theater. The fun continued on for two more days at the Temecula CRC with terrific performances all day and a special ‘dance party’ at the conclusion of Sunday night’s event with the band Peachcake.
The 2008 Temecula Music Fest is set for May 16, 17, 18 and looks to be our best event yet, with a wide variety of music, tasty food, art and fun for everyone.
